What about 48-50/60 assuming sacs don’t scale.
Also Because it’s just a ranking and I am ranked nth. What if the nth exam score is much lower than my 78% does that mean I can end up getting much lower than the letter grade ‘A’ this usually is?
Definitely a better chance at a 40, potentially even higher for a 50/60.
Yeah, it is possible for your sacs to scale down. However, the idea that an nth A exam score results in an nth rank getting an A is not completely true. Same goes for the actual sac score. There is a lot more standardisation that takes place than just nth exam score = 80 thus nth sac score = 80. Both a bit of oversimplification but still get the correct idea though.
For instance, last year 14% of students got A+'s for unit 3 and 14% of students got A+'s for unit 4. So around mid-A and above on the exam correlated to an A+ sac. However, the letter grade actually has little relevance it is more about where you sit in relation to the cohort given each letter grade is a spectrum. So a high A could be virtually identical to a low A+ and a low A when compared to a high A+ is about 20+ marks apart.
