i figure law would be good as far as job opportunities go, i've also wanted to work as a human rights lawyer so with biomedicine yeah it could be very helpful.

I think it is Medicine/Law rather than Biomedicine/Law.

Yes. Both those degree are hardcore.

Actually, I heard from a mate of mine that there is this good MERIT  engineering program at Monash.

lol. exactly. why would anyone stay at uni for 8 years to get both degrees when it's not even that useful. it's not like you can be a medi-lawyer or something.

It is actually 7 years.

You have a good point. Though I personally know of a med/law student who graduated from UNSW(UNSW used to do med/law) who is earning 500K+ a year.

CEOs earn lots more than that, and they don't need a medicine degree :wink:

lol at suing McDonald's. I wonder how much money that'll pay out .......
