Title: Iron III Nitrate and Potassium Thiocyanate
Post by: Jefferson on April 15, 2019, 09:50:26 pm
Hi all,

For the reaction between Iron III Nitrate (Fe(NO3)3) and Potassium Thiocyanate (KSCN), whose net equation is:

Fe3+(aq) + SCN-(aq) ⇌ FeSCN2+(aq),

What would be the full ionic equation, involving Fe(NO3)3 and KSCN?
I don't see where this simplifies.

Thank you
