Singles in no particular order

Worldwide Choppers - Tech N9ne ft.  Yelawolf, Busta Rhymes, Twista, Ceza, JL, U$O, D-Loc & Twisted Insane
Ex'd Up - Culture Shock (Sunny Brown, Lomaticc, Baba Khan)
Levels - Avicii (I promise it was before it got overplayed)
Sun & Moon - Above and Beyond
Trouble on My Mind - Pusha T ft. Tyler the Creator
100% in the Bitch - Porter Robinson
Got Me Wrong - Mantra ft Parvyn Kaur Singh
Otis - Jay Z & Kanye West

Would do Album's, but probably don't have top 10, my 4 top played are
It's Just Bars - Fraksha

Culture Shock 2.0 - Culture Shock
All 6's and 7's - Tech N9ne

I can't stand Levels anymore. I liked it too when it debuted but then Florida or whatever his name is went and ruined it. Now everyone samples the vocals and people shuffle to it?!

Damn mainstream.

watch the throne was horrible imo

the beats were average considering how much money was spent on the production and the rhymes were even worse

such a let down, especially after my dark twisted fantasy

Yeah unfortunately I have gotten sick of levels by now, but it still makes my top as I loved it for the majority of the year.

Watch the Throne does have some wack beats I feel, but (including Otis) there are some gold tracks in there IMO. I hate a few of the tracks but for me a few make up for it. Namely That's My Bitch, No Church in the Wild, and New Day.

Damn mainstream.

Exact same thing happened to Party Rock Anthem. And almost every recent dance/hip-hop collaboration.

Kasabian Melbourne gig early next year. I've been thinking of going, the atmosphere will be great!

If you get the chance you definitely should go. I've seen them twice and both times they were amazing. I'll have to miss their Melbourne gig though, have a school leadership camp  :(

EDIT: 100th post :)

TRANSGRESSION ARE YOU GOING TO KASABIAN ON THE 28TH BECAUSE I WILL BE THERE. SOLOING IT, AND YOU KNOW WHO I AM SO SAY HI IF YOU SEE ME. DOOR 6. GET LOOSE GET LOOSE. /yelling
(I just realised I'm actually seeing them 3 times within 5 days: 2 BDO's and a sideshow)

Oh and I better contribute to this thread. Not sure if I can rank them since I like them each in their own way. Going off what I've personally bothered to listen to last year as well. I know Bon Iver, Fleet Foxes, Laura Marling made a lot of people's lists but I haven't bothered since I don't expect they're to my musical taste, etc. Anyway on with it:

Arctic Monkeys - Suck It and See
Cage The Elephant - Thank You, Happy Birthday
PJ Harvey – Let England Shake
Explosions in the Sky - Take Care, Take Care, Take Care
Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds - (self titled)
Kasabian - Velociraptor!
Battles - Gloss Drop
Lykke Li - Wounded Rhymes
The Kills - Blood Pressures
Thee Oh Sees - Carrion Crawler/The Dream

Other mentions:
Alex Turner - Submarine EP (Do EP's count?)
The Strokes - Angles
Yuck - (self titled)
Tom Waits - Bad As Me
Miles Kane - Colour of the Trap
The Vaccines - What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?
The Grates - Secret Rituals
Foster the People - Torches

As for 2012 upcoming/expected releases. I'll be checking out (not limited to)...
Queens Of The Stone Age
The Mars Volta
Muse
The Hives
The Temper Trap
No Doubt
Band of Skulls
Franz Ferdinand (not sure if releasing or recording)
Uh and are Yeah Yeah Yeahs 2012 or 2013? Nick Zinner's doing his orchestra thing at the Sydney Opera House on the 22nd of January I think so it seems like they're in no hurry.

You have a great taste in music. Are you going to BDO? Noel Gallagher + Kasabian + Cage the elephant + The Living End = DROOL. Sadly I can't go due to school leadership camp  :'(

Anyone going to Noel's Sideshow on the 31st? I can get a ticket, but will have to solo it.

EDIT: Just noticed that you were going to BDO lol.
2 BDO's and a sideshow

Nice! I'm going to Noelly Noel's Palais show (also solo) and shall be in... ROW A. Brain exploded when I got the ticket. I hope everyone ends up standing because I find seated gigs really awkward especially when I'm going to be right in front of Noel Gallagher yelling out lyrics.

I'm going to BDO in Sydney (won these) and Melbourne so I won't have any clashes. I'll also be able to diversify my schedule to check out lesser known artists. Plus a Kasabian sidey and a Noel Gallagher sidey as mentioned.

The Arctic Monkeys/Miles Kane shows last week were fantastic too. Especially the one at the Palace. Festival Hall was stinky. Here's a picture I took to show how close I was (brag):

2012's going well haha.
