At melbourne and monash biomed needs 25 in chem + 25 In methods or spesh (or physics at monash). Also need atleast 25 in English or 30 in EAL. biology is not required, but will probably help with some backgrown knowings I would imagine.

Is Biology a prerequisite for Biomedicine?
I've attached a list of 'biomed' courses from a number of unis that may be of interest :)

According to Monash for biomedical science, the only science that is a prerequisite is chemistry (source: https://www.monash.edu/study/courses/find-a-course/2019/biomedical-science-m2003#recent-secondary-education)

According to Melbourne for biomedicine, the only science that is a prerequisite is chemistry (source: https://study.unimelb.edu.au/find/courses/undergraduate/bachelor-of-biomedicine/entry-requirements/)

According to Deakin for biomedical science, the only prerequisite that I can find is an English subject (source: http://www.deakin.edu.au/course/bachelor-biomedical-science)

According to Latrobe for biomedicine, the only prereq I can find is English (source: https://www.latrobe.edu.au/courses/bachelor-of-biomedicine)

According to FedUni for biomedical science, one of the sciences (or a math) is required (source: https://study.federation.edu.au/#/course/DSB5)

According to VU for biomedical science, one of either Bio, Chem, HHD, PE or math is required (source: https://www.vu.edu.au/courses/bachelor-of-biomedical-science-hbbs)

According to ACU, the only prereqs they require are an English and a maths (source: https://courses.acu.edu.au/2019/undergraduate/bachelor_of_biomedical_science)

Hope this helps. :)

EDIT: Added FedUni and ACU.

As an aside, at Melbourne students who have done biology and who haven’t done biology in VCE perform equally well in first year bio
2013-15: BBiomed (Biochemistry and Molecular Biology), UniMelb
2016-20: MD, UniMelb
2019-20: MPH, UniMelb
2021-: GDipBiostat, USyd

Is Biology a prerequisite for Biomedicine?
Nope, but it helps. Even towards the end of 2nd year students who did biology had a little bit of an advantage due to being exposed to the basics of some content in the past. However, this "disasvantage" can easily be made up by non biology students by keeping up to date with the content. As vox has said, in the end doing vce biology wont be major factor in scoring well at uni.
