Maximising marks

Based on the level of 2u, I'm fairly sure that there will be qs in 3u that I can't do or at least can't do straight away. Does anyone have any tips to maximise my marks in the exam, given this and also the time factor? I'm aiming for band 6/E4 as I got 92% in trials.

Edit: harder projectile and binomial are particular struggle points. I understand the concepts and can do the qs, and when I look at the solutions to harder questions I understand them but it's hard to know where to start

Best way to maximise marks in the exam is to minimise your silly mistakes. If the last question is of similar difficulty like the other maths exams, it might just be best to leave them out if you are running short on time. My method on minimising silly mistakes is writing down the silly mistakes that i do in the past papers, and keep them in the back of my head as i complete other questions.
Guaranteeing the easy marks is one of the best ways to go! :D
