We've just rolled through another month on the ATAR Notes forums!! It's been another big one, with some amazing contributions, and some big changes to the leadership team. Particularly want to say congratulations to our new Natmod miniturtle, and our newest HSC mod angewina_naguen. Also want to say another big thank you to dancing phalanges and Opengangs, two HSC mods who decided to step down this month
With big changes in the leadership team, this should be the cue for everyone to step up! The leadership positions on our site might seem totally distant, but they are really just a matter of getting involved and showing us your passion. Our moderators help drive the site into the future (and often end up working with AN as authors, tutors, lecturers and/or support crew) - If this sounds great, get involved! It could be you in the future
For those that are new, every month we like to recognise two users who have
particularly stood out for their contributions, whatever form those may have taken. On top of that, we point to a bunch of instances of amazing individual contributions - Guides, answers, whatever - And encourage our users to highlight anything we missed.
Without further ado, let’s jump into our MotM for January 2019!
THE NSW WINNER FOR FEBRUARY IS...Spoiler
AVOCADINQ! On the HSC end, we're recognising a user who registered back in September of 2017, but posted for the first time just this year. They epitomise exactly what we want from our newest members of the community - Asking questions, but just as keen to
give advice and even
provide feedback in our marking section. It's so simple, but this give and take is what our community thrives on - We're keen to recognise it, and hope that this inspires others to do the same!!
THE VIC WINNER FOR FEBRUARY IS...Spoiler
ERUTEPA! For a member who only joined ten months ago, Erutepa has quickly become such an integral part of the community. Already, Erutepa has accrued 12 days online and over 100 posts in VCE Biology board. If you count forum games, they've made an insane
437 posts this month!! Craziness!! But what we love is the blend of getting involved with in the fun stuff, while still finding time to
provide answers to questions, and maintaining an awesome
VCE journey journal.
Further to recognising our MotM, here are some of the other outstanding contributions to ATAR Notes this month. There's been a TONNE of guides written! If we missed anything, be sure to give a shout out below!!
