Hello everyone  ,

How can I describe someone witnessing different cultures around her in a cultural event?

 With my character, she has left her home country to come to Australia to study and feels a loss of belonging being in Australia, as she is away from her family and faces discrimination. She has been invited to this event by a friend of hers and shocked that the event has so much people from different cultures, so she feels connected and not alone almost. I hope this makes sense! Thank you.
