FA3 Research investigation assistance

Greetings.

This is my research question for my research investigation:
When investigating force absorption and the magnitude of impulse required to trigger inflation, how advantageous are airbags in cars, and technology-powered ones in motorcycles, in the prevention of fatalities during motor vehicle collisions?

My teacher told me that this question won't be covered in 2000 words. He also said the main reason for this is because I'm doing both car and motorcycle airbags.

But I don't know which one to choose.
Another factor I need to take account of is my research linking to impulse law, motion law and Newton's second law.

Could anyone please give me possible tips and tell me what to do?
