Hello!
My name is Shirlaine and I've been tutoring over the last 10+years. I'm a qualified English teacher (although I don't work at a school) with a Bachelor and Masters in English Literature at Monash and Melbourne University.
For me, English tutoring isn't about getting the best marks, rather, it's about improving your confidence in the subject by developing and polishing the expression of your ideas, which hopefully translates into better marks for you! I've worked with students from all backgrounds (private, public, religious), students with mental health concerns, students who are failing as well as students who are very high achievers.
