As subject states, what are the factors which have contributed towards Australia's trade surplus?

Hi...
(Disclaimer: I don't study economics and not sure if there are specific factors according to the syllabus.)

One of the big reasons I would think is the many free trade agreements Australia has formed with many other countries, such as New Zealand, Singapore and Japan.

Also, not sure if relevant, but since Australia's Food Industry has a high quality reputation, it exports a lot of its produce worldwide, e.g. dairy products, meat.

Hope this gives a few ideas to get you started.  :)
