panic attack, atar. yes
« on: March 25, 2021, 09:23:32 pm »
hello guys, this is another atar question, sorry.
in the start of y12 i didnt take it seriously and im starting to regret it.

im doing: english, further math, media, i.t, and business management

for english sac i got  43% on creative writing.
for business sac i failed both and currently did 1 resit and passed.
for media i got 57%
the rest (i.t and further) sacs r in a couple of weeks away.

yeah i know these grades suck.
lets say i try and get 90%'s in all of my sacs starting from now on, is it still possible to get 90+ atar?
me giving my best is a given but wtb averaging 80%'s on my sacs, is it still possible getting 90+ atar?
ill obviously try and getting 90%'s, but i just wanna know before i come here again after getting an 80%.
my ranking is already poor, how will this affect my atar?

thank you for reading

Firstly, I am sorry you did not get the grades you deserve. But in my eyes you can still get a very high ATAR, maybe not 90+ or a study score of 50 however you can still decently well. There are still many more SACs throughout the year so if you smash that and the exam you might score well. Overall, just do your best and try not to let your SAC marks drag you down too much.

It is not about the percentage but more the ranking. If you are ranked high in your cohort and smash the exam A+ you could get a 40 study score. But if you want a percentage try to aim for 90-100%. I have faith in you and I know you do deserve high marks, asking this question alone show me that you care  :)
