Do you think artistic expression is a good way to let off steam?

Heck yeah - I'm in for this!
Nah, I'm good.
I'd love to, but I have no time. :,(

I can draw a spooder...

But really though, I do have this one drawing of a wasp I did in year 7. I know it's not great, but was pretty impressive by my poor standards.

I'm really loving you guys' bugs!

Sorry I've been so lax with the "fortnight" bit of "fortnightly art challenge"; it gets strangely difficult to keep track without a rigid regime like school to keep me in check.  :-[

Anyway I'm going to end the challenge tonight, but for now here's my entry! With no paper present I drew it on my leg with a random red pen I found (also completely from memory) so excuse the discrepancies  ;D

Spoiler

Hope everyone's had a great couple of weeks! It's be great to get a few more people on board with this in the next few months. Stay tuned for a new topic tomorrow! :D

Helloooo fellows!

It's me again! No idea if that's a good thing or not but let's roll with it.

The last topic closed with two pretty awesome entries, and because the school year has officially begun I do believe this form of stress relief will be nice for some of you. If you're new to this thread, just head on down to the first post and that'll explain everything. :)

Okay so, this topic will keep with the rigid fortnightly structure, which means the topic will close at midnight on the 17th of February. And that topic is....
Spoiler
the circus!

All good? Awesome. Keen to see some more art flowing in soon! Love y'all ❤️

I'm very glad that each topic goes for a fortnight as I'm incredibly slow at learning anything.

Poet, I remember you said that you really like the greatest showman ;)

the original
The original arrangement was made by this absolute piano god called Constantino Carrara. I did cut out one of the songs in his arrangement because I couldn't learn it in time of unforeseeable circumstances. ;D

Hi friends, it's me. I'm back to (belatedly) close this topic and begin a new one! Get hyped!

I'm going to apologise for once again failing you all and be a little transparent - despite knowing perfectly well the closing date of this last topic, I've been struggling to post announcements. It's been stressing me out and for some reason every time I try I start to feel sick and panic a little. I'm getting past it but thanks for being cool in the meantime and waiting a little for me to get my courage up.

So, I decided to do this kind of trippy circus thing, I don't even know. I thought it looked kind of cool, so here you go:
Spoiler

Also feel free, people, to turn in submissions even after topics are closed if you think they're a good idea! I'd love to see more people's works and imaginations. :)

Okay so the next topic iiiissss:
Spoiler
The Colour Orange!

Just think of something orange, something related to the colour orange, whatever you feel, and just do it! Again, you have 2 weeks. Good luck! Happy arting!!

When I saw this topic, I realised that my latest drawing really fitted, so here it is:
Tiger sketch

I thought I'd show the stages of the drawing, as Poet (without knowing it) inspired me to document the whole step-by-step process. Hope you like it, I certainly am pretty happy with it. :)

Seriously IN LOVE with all of these latest entries! Hopefully you all enjoyed this topic as much as I did. Speaking of, here is my entry for the topic "orange":

Spoiler
I did it for the memes haha, please laugh

Okay, so our next topic will be another colour, because I've decided it's a lot easier to work through themes by their relatability. So that means our next art challenge topic is *drum roll*
Spoiler
G R E E N

Again, this topic will be open for contributions for at least 14 days. So you have plenty of time to study as well as sit down with a pencil or hunt your desired image with a camera, whatever you want to do.
Have fun arting, y'all!
