I've been doing french for 4 yrs and I've recently started a chinese class for older students (I'm not from a chinese background) and I find myself wanting to pick up chinese and drop french for vce. What should I do?

Continue studying french and not do chinese as vce subject
Do chinese SL as vce subject and drop french
Continue with both
Other?

To be honest, do what feels right to you. If you find it easier or like it more, all the more reason to just go for it. :)

There’s a reason I switched to Japanese and not do Chinese, despite studying the latter for longer.

Hey, welcome to ATAR Notes. :)

You say in the poll title that you want to pick up Chinese and drop French. What's the reasoning behind that?
