Hey guys

Just got back my trial marks and weren't expecting those marks at all. I did the CSSA papers and my school rank is around 200

Adv Maths: 61/100 rank: mid 20s/33
Standard English 70/100 rank: mid 40s/140
Business studies: 60/100 rank 15/40
 ;( Physics: 47/100 rank: 13/16
 ;( Engineering Studies: 45/100 rank: 12/19
SOR1: 31/50 rank: 61/116

Is low 80 atar still possible for me... preferably 81 or 82

Thanks \

80's is probably being a bit over ambitious. You must also be realistic about your goals. Unless your marks for the rest of your assessments are really high, aiming for an 80's atar is probably a bit too high.

Hey,

I found that during my HSC not aiming for specific marks really helped because you're more inclined to put your all in rather than focusing on numbers. Besides, even if you don't get that goal there are so many backdoors to get into uni if that's what you want.

Just remember here on AN we're always here to help :-)
