Zoology/Engineering questions

I'm primarily interested in Biology, specifically Zoology and I'd love to combine my interest with animal behaviour/structure with Engineering, either designing things for animals or based on animal structure (as long as studying animals is a notable part of it). I have a few problems though.

For one I'm not sure what job I could get or even find that would let me do that, it seems like too specific of a position.

Also even if a position was available I'm not convinced a double degree would be particularly helpful, as I may be working with another Zoologist or Engineer.

And what Engineering major do you think would be preferable?
