Hey guys!

One of the biggest barriers to success in VCE Maths is the lack of resources. After all, textbook questions are night and day comparing to typical SAC and exam questions, and the other common resource - practice exams - are all but ineffective until the very end. Having noticed the lack of important resources during our own VCE studies, Larry and I have created a wealth of resources to help you guys tackling this challenge later than us. We have achieved raw 50s in both Methods and Spec between us, but the resources below are what we really wish we had when we were doing VCE.

Topic Tests:

These series of 10 topic tests are handcrafted by us and come with detailed worked solutions. Not knowing where to start revising or what your weaknesses are? No problem. These tests are designed to help you target your weaknesses and study at maximum efficiency.

Bound reference:
The bound references are a compilation of notes we made throughout the year. They contain comprehensive summaries of all the key topics in the entirety Methods, including formula, shortcuts and diagrams. They come in a ready-to-print format, so you’re welcome to use it in addition to yours, or use it as an exemplar to guide your own.

Separator questions booklet (plus video solutions!)
As great as the bound references are, what ultimately allowed us to achieve the top marks are solving the difficult "separator" questions

Every year, there are over 10,000 students doing Methods, all vying for that top mark. And the best way to make sure you stand out from the crowd is solving the difficult questions that VCAA tend to throw at you year after year. Being able to do these questions is crucial for students going for a 40+ study score (and basically a prerequisite for students looking for the high 40s). Just to highlight their significance, in the 2020 paper alone, there were 10 marks in Exam 1 and 20 marks in Exam 2 which less than 10% of the state got correct. That’s almost a quarter of the entire exam!

To help you guys prepare for these, we have combed through all the recent VCAA exams as well as a plethora of company papers to identify the most common separator question types. They are compiled in a 20 page booklet, complete with video solutions dissecting each topic. This is absolutely key to achieving the top marks, and is something we desperately wished we had when we were preparing for the exam. Too late for us, but not too late for everyone here!

These resources were meh. Was expecting more exams than just one (he didnt really specify thered only be one) and expected more separator questions. Not really worth $60, in my opinion.

I definitely have made it very clear what you were getting before you decided to pay.

There are already more than 60 marks, which cover all the six most common separator question types. And the entire premise to these questions is that they're rare and designed to be be testing a concept, rather than practicing a technique. So any more would really be an overkill. Once you've given it a go, I'm sure you'll also find it helpful ( It's our most highly rated resource)
