My predictions:

Hawks to win the premiership
Essendon 4-6
dogs bottom 4
North and Richmond to make the 8
Jobe Watson for the Brownlow
GWS to not win
Port to improve

@Natters   Hurley will stay. GC threw some money at him and he stayed, and we'd have plenty in the cap to keep him happy.

At least I hope so.

Believe it or not, but my current Methods teacher at TAFE is actually extremely close with the Hurley family. Visits them regularly.

She said he isn't going to leave Essendon.

Money does talk. For gods sake Tom Scully earns as much as Gary Ablett even with a very dodgy knee (I believe he injured badly)

Imagine what they would offer Hurley. A superstar player in the making who can play at both ends of the ground.

Superstar midfielders come and go, but not superstar key position players.

OK wait, seems I'm out of it- whats the shizz with Hurley??
Whatever it is, I'm surprised Heppell hasnt run. Its not like he wouldnt be without any offers.

Ok, this is the extent to which I'm not up to date: Did Ling retire?

And Fev will defs not be at Collingwood ever! We have enough decent players. I doubt he's end up at Geelong either. Both teams have a resonably young playing group- what would they want to do with a washed-out alcoholic gambler? And how old is Fev anyway? 30+?
The oldest in Collingood are Ben Johnson and Darren Jolly who are both 30. Bottom line is, you'd have to be desperate to take Fev. Funny guy, but not worth it. There's a bigger chance of Aka being recruited than Fev, I reakon.

And I second Pendles for Brownlow. The person that was the favourite the year before ends up taking it out the year after- case in point Swanny.
Pendles took out Collingwoods B&F anyway.

Heppel grew up as a diehard bombers supporter dude
not going :D
and if your all right about hurly im so fukn happy, bombers to win a flag before jobe retires? before fletch retires more like it :D

and sry for my skepticism on hurley leaving, but im an arsenal supporter in the EPL and we just had two of the best players in the world taken from us, one of which left for free, both having said they were happy and would stay etc. Im pessimistic about that shit

I love Sammy Newman. Sure he is controversial sometimes, but No Sammy = No Footy Show.

Definitely. But JimBob and Gaz have become a pretty integral part of the show.
Eg. YO GAZZA GAZZA
LOL that was hilarious. I always looked forward to Thursday nights because of the Footy Show. Although the whole reporter/news bit with Hutcho and Damo were boring. I always found myself watching foreign porn on SBS as it was more entertaining. LOL
And I love how Sam and Shane act as if they cant stand each other, even though everyone knows they love each other.
