Title: Is this an accurate way of calculating study scores?
Post by: hawkrook on August 17, 2019, 01:15:09 pm
Lets consider English:

If I know that for GA1 and GA2, I will be in the 75th percentile of the state and that for the exam I will be in the 25th percentile of the state. Is it sound to say that overall, I will be in the 50th percentile of the state and therefore get a 30, since the SACs and exam are worth 50% each?

I believe that it is an inaccurate way of predicting your results as the distributions for the percentiles may be drastically different.
