Poll

Do you think artistic expression is a good way to let off steam?

Heck yeah - I'm in for this!
Nah, I'm good.
I'd love to, but I have no time. :,(

I'm cheating because this photo is from February, but I was independently glancing through a bunch of these photos trying to pick the best one when I saw the topic announcement, and it seemed to fit. So I present the exceptionally intelligent and curious kea (bonus nod to the last topic: they have a bright orange under their wings...)

Alright, everyone, last chance to get in anything green!

I've only been drawing in black and white lately, so it looks like I'll have to pop in some of my recent photography.

Here’s an album of green things from this place called “Tasmania” that I took. Apparently it’s apart of this country.

Also here is a picture of me face with a green background. I like the aesthetic of it.
But have some bleach ready if you do look at it.
WARNING OPEN AT OWN RISK

I didn’t have any opportunities to take pics of green stuff more recently. But here is my submission

Thank you so much for all your submissions, everyone! It's about time to change the topic.

Our next focus will be on another colour, because I am a lazy thread momma and thus find topics under general colours much easier than specific ones. So until April 15th, this topic will be
Spoiler
the colour RED

This one might be a little trickier when it comes to photography, so have fun getting creative! ❤️❤️❤️

It's autumn, so I figured red leaves would be easy to find.  Hoped to get a crimson rosella as well, and was lucky to see some king parrots, though neither of them the best photos I've ever seen of those birds.  All in the Dandenong Ranges Botanic Gardens (former Rhododendron Gardens) or RJ Hamer Arboretum yesterday.

Woohoo! So, I'm currently on the train, let's see if I can get this done before I hit Flinders (edit: nvm... before I hit Footscray?)

Thanks for the entries this week, y'all! Today marks the halfway point in the month and thus, at midnight tonight, we will reach our deadline. So before the new topic begins, here's my entry. Its more photography but I found it too pretty to be laid aside.

Who's keen for some international themes? I got bored with colours so why not try the whole world?

Cool cool. I'm taking no answer as a yes. So, our next topic will be

So uh heyyyy I did an entry and for once got it in early (weow!)

So, here's my entry. I just drew a simple sketch and coloured it in, it's not much Buuut it's homage to the mantilla and Spanish traditional dress. Red is a popular colour in Spain as well as being on their flag so I chose for the dress to be red. Spanish and Mexican culture is extremely entangled, so the Spanish also celebrate Day of the Dead. Thus, I've put makeup on the woman's face.

sorry for the bad picture quality!

Anyway, hope to see some more entries before the 1st of May! Love you all.
