CASIO calculator query

Also, if anyone's able to answer, I remember there being this thingy on the CASIO classpad calculator, the white and bulky one, that allowed you to substitute pronumerals with numbers. A bit like the 'define' thingy, but without having to type f(x)= etc etc
Eg.

(Mystery button) x=2
(Mystery button) y=3

and then just type

xy

(press exe)

And then it comes up with 6



...not very clear, sorry. Not sure how else to describe it.

This is not exactly what you described but it's quite similar.
x^2 + 3 | x = 3
Comes up as 12.

Or were you looking for this?
5 => x
x + 3
Comes up with 8

For both of these, the symbols are in the soft keyboard.
