hey guys,

im aware that VCE did discrete probability, and so they will have past papers with those sorts of qusetions. But I was wondering if there was any more overlap between syllabus' so I can look for questions relating to practice?

Depends.

A lot of past paper (i.e. old syllabus) questions on probability here relied on just intuition. (And some more challenging problems required use of geometric series.) But there was no real notion of set theory or random variables until the new syllabus rolled in, and in particular the new Year 11 syllabus has only been taught once so far.
