Is parametrics still in the syllabus

Hi,
For the 2020 maths ext 1 course, I saw some parametrics hsc questions (e.g. 2018 Q12e) that my class hasn't covered yet and I was wondering if these questions are still in the course.

No, those parametric representation questions that focused heavily on the locus of the parabola have been taken out.

The extent of your work in MX1 parametrics is essentially what was taught to you early on in Year 11.
