Watched Brothers in War yesterday... worst movie I have ever seen.

And then I watched Hacksaw Ridge today...
No comparison..

Watch ‘Roma’. It’s a Mexican film that is centred on reality- not going to say anything else. It's amazing, and on Netflix right now.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail
I came across this one on Netflix. Ik its super old and people here have probably watched it already, but it's some quality surreal humour. Could help cheer you up after a holiday grind. ;)

I did! It was a unique concept and very engaging storyline, but it was a lot more horror and less scary than I expected. Tbh wouldn't recommend it to people looking for a really good movie.

However, I also recently watched Aquaman, and that was extremely good. The casting was great (being a comic nerd I was impressed) and the CGI was fantastic. If you're looking for an epic fantasy battle scene or 50 go see Aquaman.

It was hyped so much by twitter (and other sources) - also there were so many memes on instagram so I watched it as I didn't want to get spoiled too much (already went in with some knowledge). I didn't think it was that great of film - the first 20 mins was decently engaging but it felt a bit of a drag towards the middle.

Yesterday I watched "Arrival" (2016) - Not too sure what to make of it I found the ideas of the storyline to be really great but as a film it was executed very poorly.

Plot Point
haha it's pretty random but in hindsight it makes heaps of sense - especially considering that a major theme is that time is circular (at least for the aliens and it has no direction - everything is happening at the same time) and not linear as we perceive it
