Is my ATAR goal possible?

Good evening, :)
With low trial marks back and shocking procrastination i need to seriously, realistically work how much work i have to do to get my goal ATAR...
My trial marks: English - 59, Maths, - 62, Business Studies - 69, Geography - 88, D&T - 84
These marks were weepworthy and i my previous marks are mostly a lot higher... :'( :'(

So is it possible to get my ATAR goal of 91? Realistically, how much work is expected to be put in to raise my trial marks drastically for a higher ATAR?
HOW DO I STUDY FOR ENGLISH? this is a different wavelength...but i am OVER english and i don't know how to stop procrastinating studying it cos i am so sick of it....

Thanks.....
R.

Those marks only matter in the fact they affect your ranking. If your ranking is still good then you just have to knuckle down between now and the HSC to get to marks you desire.

As for English, I feel ya, but here's some things I did:
- A LOT of mindmaps, more fun and coulourful to create and helped organise my thoughts
- practice essays
- essay plans, particularly when you CBF doing a whole essay, more time efficient and helps you identify gaps in knowledge
- practice questions and creatives for paper 1

Hope this helps :D
HSC 2017: Advanced English [85] General Maths [92] Biology [96] Geography [92] Drama [86]

2018: Bachelor of Arts and Advanced Studies at University of Sydney

-- need a tutor for any of the subjects listed above?? I reckon I'm the girl! Just message me on ATAR notes or here--

Heyy,

Going in to the HSC I'm quite happy with my rankings;
Economics (1), Mathematics (1), English Advanced (3), Physics (3) and Mathematics Ext 1 (3).

I only need an ATAR of 88 as to get into my desired course, Bachelor of Commerce at Melbourne Uni, as I receive bonus points for being a rural student.

In the CSSA trials, I received marks of;
Mathematics - 96/100
English Advanced - 86/105
Physics - 87/100
Economics - 83/100
Mathematics Ext 1 - 54/70
PLUS I did Studies of Religion 1 Accelerated, and received a 46/50 (Band 6) last year.

My ATAR goal has always been a 95+.

I'm just curious as to how realistic this goal is.

Welcome to the forums!! ;D those are strong results, well done! I think that ATAR goal is definitely achievable, particularly with that Band 6 in SOR in your back pocket. But you'll need to get a few more Band 6's than just that and 2U - So focus on working hard across the other courses to get some (or all!) of them out of the 80's and into the 90's ;D
