Hey guys,

Hope you've all been well. Per thread title, i'm looking for any recommendations on various clubs/societies that you've really enjoyed/would recommend. Open to anything! :) Would be helpful if you also elaborated on why you love the club and would recommend it

Thanks all

I class clubs into fun and connections

Fun clubs =)
Music club - I love playing music =)
Games club - Who doesn't love board games after lectures :P?
Volunteering club - Get together and volunteer!

Some clubs are good for connections and networking
- Commerce / business club - Big banks and firms go there to hold talks and comps
- Engo - Engineering firms go there to hold Q and A's

You get the idea  =)

If you're not afraid to get your hands dirty (literally and figuratively), 100% recommend Melbourne University Habitat for Humanity - I went on one of their build trips over the break, was an amazing experience. Bonded with a great group of people, and got to do something charitable that will directly help people in need. And while it's certainly not the priority, it's probably a notable resume experience too
