Hey everyone, I have noticed that the T&T section has been a bit quiet these days, I reckon a little too quiet for my liking. I need help! I have been given a task by my teacher over the holidays to work on (So much for holidays!), and it says to either pick an essay or exegetical response. Now, to me, they look exactly the same. So for that reason, I have turned to this somewhat ancient section hoping to find guidance. What are the main steps/procedures to follow while dissecting the prompt for the essay? And how does an essay structure differ from an exegesis? I am doing the Quran section if that helps.
