Tutoring for 2020 is full

Hey everyone!  :)

My name is Fabian, and I am currently offering tutoring in Mathematical Methods (Units 1-4) for 2019. I completed Maths Methods (CAS) in 2016 and received a raw study score of 49. Over the past 3 years I have studied a Bachelor of Biomedicine at Monash University and through my electives have also completed a minor in mathematics. I have completed these Mathematics subjects at both a 1st and 2nd year level and scored HDs (High Distinctions - the highest grade available) in all those units. During highschool the subjects I completed for VCE were; English, Methods, Specialist, Chemistry, Biology and MUEP Chemistry. I also hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).

I have 3 years tutoring experience and importantly have tutored and personally studied under the current study design so am thoroughly aware of the small differences between each study design. In these tutorials I aim to teach via first principles so that there is an understanding of why such techniques are used and why formulas work. This is to ensure students to have a more holistic understanding of the course and to highlight how each seemingly discrete topics have many connections between each other. Tutorials are generally weekly and between 1- 1.5 hours but are quite flexible depending on a students needs.

Resources
  • Assistance outside of class which is encouraged via email
  • 100+ sets of practice exams in multiple subjects
  • Additional topic specific tests and quizzes

Testimonials
Methods 3/4
Fabian is a great methods tutor! He is an intervening and vastly knowledgeable person. I can’t thank him enough for all the help that he could give me ( which extended across other subjects, not just methods) with he’s help I was able to take my work to a next level. I will definitely recommend him as a tutor.!

Methods 1/2 (JMSS)
Fabian is a very knowledgeable tutor who  has helped me develop my skills from year 9 maths to year 11 methods. Working with him throughout the year, my results had progressively improved. I have personally asked him many questions through private message outside of class and have always gotten a response very quickly. He's been able to break down concepts and make them easier to understand and go through whole topics in each lesson.

Rates/Location
$50/hour @ Monash University (clayton)

Hey everyone, hope everyone has a had a great start to 2019. I just have a few points I wanted to update.

Added testimonials from past students.

Also there is only a couple places left for weekly tutoring depending on students availabilities and finally, as the school term approaches I will also be winding down the holiday head start tutorials which will be finishing up at the beginning of March.

Thanks
