Aaahh, I’m not feeling too great right now. I’m not completely heartbroken or anything, and I know there’s nothing I can do to change it but I can’t help but be disappointed.

Biology: 43
Vietnamese SL: 41

I’m honestly so glad with how Viet turned out, I was expecting the worst with around 35. Bio on the other hand... I know I predicted a 42, but that was for my absolute worst. Comparing the amount of effort I put in for Bio in comparison to Viet, I wish I could move a few points over to Bio. I ended failing 2 of my 1/2s to study Bio and I was really expecting 45+.

But ahh, whatever. I guess this acts as motivation to work harder for next year.

To be honest... I am completely demolished. I have never felt this disappointed in my life. My study scores were horrendous.

ATAR: 99.05

Got 39 in Economics which was my only 3/4 subject. I averaged mid 90s on all my sacs but only got an A grade for GA1 and 2. I got an A+ on the exam as well, does anyone know why my sac results went down?

^Congrats!! You really have been around for ages haha (I was very confused when I saw your (user)name on old bio posts). So awesome that you got what you needed. Good luck for next year! ;D

Sacs get moderated to ensure that they are fair when comparing schools. Given you did better on the exam than GA1 & 2, you weren't rank 1. It means that say you were rank X, whoever did X best on the exam got an A. (that's simplified to the point of being confusing, basically your SAC marks don't actually matter because VCAA needs to compare people who do different SACs). Have a look at the Victorian Technical board if you wanna know more about it for next year.

Oh my goodness I’m actually over the moon I’m so, so happy with my score! (Disappointed with the other but meh!)

Literature: 50!!!! (OMG!!!)
Dance: 31(oh well, that’s what I get when I show up to the exam with 2 hours of sleep)

If anyone could tell me roughly what the scaled scores would be that’d be amazing <3

Well done to everyone receiving scores and ATARs this morning! :) You’ve all worked so hard this year ~

can i still apply for a course if i got one study score below the prerequisite? :'(
I'm not really sure, you should probably ask that here so that someone who knows the answer sees it :)

I reckon that 50 will scale to a 50 ;) Congrats!!

Lang 41
Spec 35
Methods 41
Chem 37

ATAR 98.50     (Was NOT expecting anywhere near this!!!)

This has been a long journey for me, wanting to do med and being on AN since year 8, so I'm very very very very happy to say that I met the requirement for my conditional UTas offer and I'm now officially enrolled in UTas MBBS!!!!!!!!!!

Thankyou to all of you in the AN community who've been such amazing support :) I'm massively greatful

I'll edit in scaled scores later for year 11's fyi

Congrats! That’s a phenomenal effort, great to see you got the UTas offer!

From the predictions thread
Further maths : 50
Methods: 39
Chemistry: 42
English: 43
Legal: 38

Atar: 98.60

I really hope these are an underestimation! 99 UoM guarantee would be nice.

EDIT: Ideal scenario?
Further maths : 50
Methods: 40
Chemistry: 43
English: 45
Legal: 38

99.00

In reality
English: 44 -->43.75
Chemistry: 46--> 48.05
Legal studies: 40 --> 39.33 (How this happened I have no clue considering I spent 3 hours studying for the exam)
Further maths: 50
Methods: 43--> 47.51

ATAR: 99.35

No way in hell did I expect this. Never. I'm still mind blown.
2018: ATAR: 99.35
Subjects
English: 44
Methods: 43
Further Maths: 50
Chemistry: 46
Legal: 40
2019: Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine @ Monash

So I’m in year 11 and I did biology this year and got a study score of 30, which I’m not particularly happy with but it has definitely given me motivation to try harder next year. I’m just wondering, because a study score of 30 is considered the mean, does this mean it won’t get scaled up next year when I receive my atar?
Thanks

It being the mean won't stop it from scaling, they're unrelated. However bio only scales a tiny amount so last year a 30 stayed at approximately a 30 (probably with decimal places but the scaling report doesn't show that).

Congrats!!

I'm really happy generally with how I went, except for Eng Lang. No idea how I managed to get a C+ on the exam, considering I prepped so much for it, which kind of hurts a little.

Accounting: 46
Legal: 42

ATAR: 98.4
