I wrapped a HEAP of Christmas presents tonight. Some I bought for others, some my parents bought. My whole family is visiting and there is so much to do!

Did I just agree to work 9 hours tomorrow instead of 5? Yes, yes I did.
Was that a bad decision? Probably

I’ve heard the same song 5 times in the last 2 1/2 hours 😢

Ooooh, yes. I was in Woolies yesterday and Jingle Bells was stuck on loop  :'(

My dad bought a 3 kilo ham. That's a lot of ham.
I wish my legs were hollow so I could keep eating ham.

Why not eat them anyway.

I enjoyed a quiet night walk by the beach with waves rolling in.

(oh, and the rest of Christmas was good too ;) - family time, too much food, loving the Christmas lights around even though I never put any up).

tfw you’re working in retail during boxing day and the eftpos machine isn’t working and you have to deal with all the complaining customers 😅😅
Which will hold greater rule over you? Your fear or your curiosity?

Maybe you should keep track of your confusions so they can be made into a guide later? :)

Not that you don't already do enough for this community

Good luck :)

Finally found a laptop design that I love. Except I'd never even use half the features and it's incredibly expensive :(
The search continues...

(I think I'm going to give up on finding a convertible laptop/tablet that I actually like and go for a normal laptop instead :'()

I'm going to be seeing laptop ads on social media for months now

The really expensive one was the surface book 2 ($2500 ish....)

Ideally I'd want one that detaches from the keyboard, I've got a (very broken) surface pro at the moment and I don't like having the stand at the back, which is why I love the surface book - it's detachable but the hinge holds it up, not a stand.

Most of the convertible ones I was looking at just flip over, which I don't really mind but the ones I was looking at (Dell Inspiron and Lenovo yoga) have a pretty crap battery life which is not ideal.

I only really want a convertible one because it's what I'm used to, it's not super necessary but would be nice. Don't think I'm going to find a convertible laptop with a decent battery that isn't a few thousand dollars though haha
