I need some help in writing an introduction in response to the question Q: With reference to ‘The Autobiography of Ahmose son of Ebana’, assess the role of the Egyptian army in this period.

So far I have written this but my teacher has advised me that it needs to be much more in depth and expansive.
The army played an extremely important role in New Kingdom Egypt due its influence on the devotion to Amun cult, ideology of kingship, development of a bureaucracy, exploitation of Nubia, expansion into Syria-Palestine and pharaonic building programs.
