How to achieve a 35+ for legal

Hi,
so I was pleased to get a study score of above 35 for legal which i am beyond proud of since we all now that this years legal exam was ffin hard tbh and many ppl did not do well or not as much to get a 40 or above
So here are some tips for those who are doing legal next year as 3/4 and how to prepare (ps. these tips are not necesssarily only for legal but are applicable to other content subjects like HHD)
a) make notes stirctly based of study design and dont waste time learning things irrelevant/not in study design-legal is very content heavy so just stick to your memory things that are only outlined in SD. While extra background knowledge of legal system (i.e. from news, other legal sources) may be beneficial and may be great as examples in answers, it is not necessary/compulsary SO BE SMART and BE KIND TO YOURSELF BY REDUCING YOUR WORKLOAD YOURSELF and  ONLY LEARNING WHAT YOU HAVE TO LEARN (NOTHING LESS AND NOTHING TOO MUCH)
b) Have a sound and comprehensive understanding, and dont rote learn (except for some concepts)- I would suggest in order to do really or reasonably well in legal (above 35 SS) u need to be able to have not just a surface level but really deep and intimate knowledge of key knowledge and concepts in order to answer questions (especially those 6-10 marker ones) well and thus do well on sacs/exams However, i would suggest rote learning and memorising some concepts (i.e. the definition of POJ, burden of proof/standard of proof, significance of section 109 and all that) and all those other small concepts
c) APPLY, APPLY and apply-like always, i suggest doing a heap ton of scenario based questions for legal especially those with a scenario/stimulus material attached to them and trying to apply your knowledge instead of merely memorising info but not really knowing how to link it to a specific scenario. Generally, the earlier and more practice questions (not just generic/definitoon ones) u do for legal, the better off you are for sacs/exams
d) Do lots of 10 markers-or if you dont have time/dont feel like writing a full 10 marker, try to write many plans as possible
e) Try to find links between concepts b/w different areas of studies because generally vcaa ask questions that require you to link and draw relationships from two or more concepts and write a discuss response to it or something, so be prepared for those
f) Ask questions in class and be best friends with your teacher (even if you hate them lol)-get your teachers to mark as many questions as possible (especially 10 markers) and seek feedback for improvement
e) Enjoy legal as much and try to see how concepts appy to your own life/legal system around you
Overall, hope you really love legal (if your doing it next year) and feel free to send me a personal message if you need help with anything/any questions for legal or general vce 3/4 advice i will be happy to answer
