I cut short a hike this afternoon because approaching thunder (and black clouds) suggesting staying out in the hills was a bad idea. Then got no more thunder and hardly any rain before it decided to turn sunny

Sucks to live in Australia just because of the weather :[
Fun fact: When we were trying to lure the British out here post-WW2, one of the selling points was that we had better weather than them. And on balance I probably prefer Melbourne weather to much of the UK (haven't lived there, but have heard the complaints).
