Title: VCE Past Papers and HSC Past Papers
Post by: Coolmate on September 16, 2020, 09:10:43 pm
Hi Everyone!

If you run out of HSC past paper questions to do, could you do some of the VCE past papers for the HSC (are they relevant/ wise to do)?
This is because I've noticed some of the papers are like the HSC past papers (but with extra content, not necessary for HSC), and would like to attempt more questions.

Thanks in advance!

Tbh there's a lot of similarities between them, and it's not some unheard of thing - people have done it before. But, it also depends on the subject - some subjects may be very different.

However, I also believe the content is different enough that while it's fine to use the exams as a question bank, you can't really use them for practicing under timed conditions. It's still worth timing yourself if you want, but like, if you can only answer 8/10 questions in a 60 minute exam, obviously it doesn't say much if you can do that in 60 minutes
