First I just wanna say sorry if I've gone overboard with the effects, they are just so fun I love them
1. What state & year level are you in right now, and what are your subjects?
I live in rural Victoria, and I do year 12 English, Indonesian Second Language, Health and Human Development, Maths Methods, and Specialist Maths (I also did Global Politics last year) People often ask me which subject is my favourite but I really can't decide. Obviously it changes depending on the current topics, but I generally love and hate them all equally, except for English which I absolutely cannot stand.
2. What movie do you most passionately hate? Provide justification.
Shazam! I watched it when I was in Indonesia and I was sooo tired and it was hot, all my friends went to watch five feet apart, but my host sister took me to watch Shazam (don't get me wrong, I'm super grateful for everything my host family did fro me) and it was just a fever dream to me. I never watch those sorts of movies because I really don't get any entertainment from them and the characters are so loud and annoying.
3. In the event of a zombie apocalypse, what would be your weapon of choice?
Probably like some really long sword thing that comes with a blindfold and ear plugs, so I could just spin around and no zombies would get to me but I also wouldn't have to watch or listen to them dying because that would make me sad.
4. Who do you want to be as a person, what do you want to achieve?
When I'm old, I want to be content with my life and feel like I've given it my best shot. I've always said that I measure my life based on whether I would watch a movie based on it, and enjoy it, and think "wow, I would love to live like that." As I move through it, I want to be in love with life and I want to have an undying passion for doing things. This probably won't exactly be constant considering I already struggle to have the motivation to get out of bed each morning, but I think it would be ideal. I want to be thrown in the deep end, to meet whole new communities of people, to learn skills I'll probably never need, to talk to thousands of people and understand their position in the world. I want to be challenged and pushed so far down I can only go up, and I also want to have the freedom to do what I want, and to make the most of my time here. Most of all I want to interact with people, I want to give and I want to get, and I want to love and be loved. I value the people in my life more than life itself, even when they're crappy people, because I think it is so incredibly beautiful how we can support each other, argue with each other, and live amongst each other.
5. If you had to summarise your life in a paragraph, what would you say?
My life has been amazingly rich with people and experiences, I've grown up in a stunning pocket of the country and have spent time in countless other stunning pockets. I've dabbled in hobbies and passions, there hasn't been one I've done consistently for years and I like that about myself. I am ever-changing and ever-adapting. I feel so so lucky in my life and for the most part have felt safe and loved, giving me the ability to grow and understand myself better. Me and My Life are works in progress.
