So. I found one of my old stories and I've decided to rework it so it doesn't sound so cringe. I'm really keen to bring it back to life, and my new version currently has about 1000 words so far.

I'll keep this updated with each milestone I've set, I'm so excited! ;D

Omg yay!! This is exciting! What is it about? How long are are you aiming for it to be?

I feel like if anyone can write a book it'd be you because you've read so many!  ;D ;D

What's it about: well I'm ambitious and am trying to smush spies with sci-fi together (because they're my two loves yes).

If I actually commit to it, I'm aiming for anywhere between 70K-90K words (but at this rate it'll also take me 70-90 years to write hahahaha)

I still think I'm trash at writing, but we'll see ;D ;D

Have you ever happened to hear of... NaNoWriMo? Granted, the 'main' season is almost over, but you can do it at any time and there will still be people to keep you accountable if you look for them in the NaNoWriMo forums including possibly myself 8)! It's a challenge to write insane numbers of words in short times - the main thing is 50K words in 30 days, which is during the month of November (which I'm doing at the moment), but you can set any goals at any time. It's free, and I find it really useful personally as a way to incite me to do these things. I'm not explaining clearly because I still have 7,000 words to write before the end of tomorrow. :o Anyhow, I would advise trying it! :)
Also, no one is 'trash' at writing, and how would you know if you haven't tried properly? :)
Enjoy!!
