I’m am just trying out this forum.
I am currently in year 11, I go to a terrible rural public school (was a stabbing a few weeks ago lol). I am currently doing
Specialist unit 2 - 22/25 on last exam
Maths B (old op system/grade 12) - VHA 9 (should be a 10 by the end of the year)
Biology unit 2 - sitting at about 37/40 for my last 2 assessments
Chemistry unit 2 - 34/40 for last 2 assessments
Psychology unit 2 - 38/40 for last 2 assessment
I have my first end of year exams coming up soon. I want to go study a bsc majoring in mathematics and statistics from Melbourne uni. Just taking it one day at a time

Hey Will, awesome to have you here! :)
Nice work on your assessments so far! Why Melbourne Uni, out of interest?
-
I have always wanted to live in Melbourne and Melbourne uni sits right on the cbd. Plus Melbourne uni seem to have a good maths program and are quite reputable.

Nice one, sounds great. By the way, given your first post, you might be interested in this podcast focusing on studying at an underrepresented school.
Looking forward to your updates! :) How did you come across ATAR Notes?

Great question!
So, if you go to this section of the forum, you can create a new thread (the "New Topic" button, as you would have done for this journal). You can post any of your work there, and then one of our users will provide you feedback to improve. :)
It might be worth also noting the subject the work is for, and a brief outline of the type of piece for context. Feel free to post back here if you're having any trouble with it - it can be a bit confusing to start!

Thank you so much, I am just listening to the podcast episode right now

No worries at all! There are lots of free QCE resources around ATAR Notes - shout out if you need a hand with anything. 👊

Sorry last question, how long will it take for a response approximately

No worries at all. :)
It can vary a bit, but as a rule, people on ATAR Notes are super keen to help out, and will try to help ASAP! Sorry for the vague response - just don't want to say like, "oh, you can definitely expect a response within like two hours" and then not have it happen!

Welcome to the forums!
As someone minoring in mathematical statistics and majoring in biology I approve of your subject choices :).
Immunity was personally the toughest topic for me in bio - how are you finding it?
There's a fair few people from unimelb in the atarnotes community so if you have questions about that you should be able to get some guidance.

(I wrote this before J41 posted so I'm just going to leave it in)
ATAR notes works off people contributing as they can when they can, so response time can vary a bit. E.g. if you post a 2000 word thing at midnight it'll probably take longer for you to get a response than something that's 500 words and posted at 4pm.
My skill set & experience is mostly in science; if you post bio, chem, or psych work I'll try to make sure you have feedback within 24 hours :)
Absolutely nothing to apologise for - you're welcome to ask questions

So cool to see another QCE journal! I am a year 10 this year, but also currently studying 1/2 bio. I'm always happy to help if I can, but I'm Victorian so I don't know how many overlaps there are!
Are you enjoying specialist? I've chosen it for next year and I'm half dreading it, half kind of looking forward to it. ;D

Some things are in a different order, but there's actually lots of overlap :)

Yeh it’s pretty cool, different though. It’s nothing like maths B

Hey Will! How have you been travelling? ;D
