Practice Questions with a Twist...

Hi everyone,
I just thought I'd reach out and get everyones thoughts on something me and my friends have been discussing.
With typical maths questions, the context that surrounds them is usually bland and boring.
Pete randomly picking apples and Jannet walking her dog on certain days is usually along the lines of what is dished up in a typical exam.

However, I know I find these pretty boring and usually leads to me procrastinating  :(

What are everyones thoughts of having exam pactice questions that are a bit more engaging in things that are relivant and funny to teenagers?

Keen to see your thoughts

Cheers

Have you seen any questions involving Tasmania Jones yet? They don't seem to lead an ordinary life and are a recurring figure in VCAA Methods exams. Some company papers have also toyed with similarly named characters.
VCE: Psych | Eng Lang | LOTE | Methods | Further | Chem
Uni: Bachelor of Science (Hons) - genetics
Current: working (sporadically on AN)

I just feel if people who write the exams tried to relate the content to teachers everyone would just cringe aha

Tasmania Jones is pretty cool though (2006 - 2014 IIRC)
