i did a bar graph cuz i think if the data is not continuous its not a line graph. But i know usually its a line graph but my instinct was a column graph. like you cant predict or interpolate between the seasons like you cant say the Vaccine effeiveness halfway between 2007-2008 season was halfway between the points.

I did column graph.

It was a DIFFERENT vaccine every year, it stated so in the paper. The flu virus changes rapidly so that the current vaccine doesn't work against the new strains. "Every year flu is different, so every year you need an updated vaccine." and one of the likely reasons why the vaccine in 2014-2015 was not that "effective" was because "the circulating strains continue to mutate after the vaccine is made, and the resulting "escape mutants" are often blamed for vaccine failure."
