I did Korean introductory 1 & 2 this year. No one would ever fail these units. Easy HD if you put in even only a little bit of effort. And it's super fun!! :D I'll write a detailed review tonight if you want.
Yes please! :D Are you planning on continuing Korean next year?

Will do it in a minute :)
I was planning to do from Korean 1 to 6 as I enjoyed it and did pretty well this year, but well, I'm going to do only Maths and Chemistry from next year unfortunately :(
Buuuut, I might fall in love with Korean over the holidays again and decide to do it next year, I change my mind all the time :p

For example I haven't bothered reviewing the compulsory law subjects because everyone has to do them anyway, but am happy to do so if requested

When you get the chance, would be great if a review could be done on LAW2101 Contract A, so I know what to expect.

Thanks!

If anyone could review the following, that'd be great:

Arts:
- Bioethics
- Religion & Theology (Seems like a recent update to the Monash website says that it's just called Theology now)
- Journalism

These are all areas of study rather than subjects. Did you have any particular religion and theology units you were considering?
2010 | Texts and Traditions - 30

2011 | History: Revolutions - 37 ; French - 33 ; Biology - 31 ; National Politics - 31 ; English - 41 (ATAR 85.85)

2012 | Monash Arts w/ Archaeology and History Double Major

Id really, really like a review on any of those religion and theology subjects as well. I've done all the philosophy ones based around religion if anyone wants reviews of those, there are already some in the thread.

It's a shame Monash Arts moved to the new bullshit course structure of capstone/forced units for all the arts majors though, much less choice..

lol no worries.  I did World Religions last year and it was pretty good. The assessment was pretty easy (just tutorial participation/attendance, a couple of article summaries/synthesis exercises, an essay and an exam if i remember correctly.)
The lectures and tutorials were easy to follow and easy lecture was given by a different lecturer with expertise in that particular religion. Each week looked at a different religion (Aboriginal spirituality, Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, Christianity, new religious movements like Scientology etc) and the essay was a topic chosen from a list based on one of these religions. You are given roughly 10 essay topics to choose from per religion so there is heaps of choice.

The exam was relatively simple and the lecturer/tutor (Constant Mews) prepared for it well.

Overall, the subject was good, though it could get a bit boring sometimes but that's the same with any subject - some topics will interest you more than others. Workload wasn't too bad either. Only 1 x 2hr lecture + 1 x 1 hr tutorial per week and the weekly readings/essay readings and research :)

Id really, really like a review on any of those religion and theology subjects as well. I've done all the philosophy ones based around religion if anyone wants reviews of those, there are already some in the thread.

Medieval Europe and Renaissance Europe are both classified under the religion and theology banner too and they are both really good (I'm pretty sure I reviewed them in the thread already)

It's a shame Monash Arts moved to the new bullshit course structure of capstone/forced units for all the arts majors though, much less choice..

Definitely. I hated it and had to re-do my whole subject selection. Though it could be worse - at least there is still some choice, even if it means the classes are more generalised than they used to be...
