Hi,

Just wondering when does Melbourne Uni allow us to create our semester 2 timetables?

Information Systems: 41 --> 39

Maths Methods: 35 ---> 41
I.T Applications: 49
Physics: 33 --> 36
Chemistry: 29 --> 33

Eh. I hate doing it. Has such a big effect on how good/painful my semester will be (i live a fair way away from uni)

I've been at Melbourne University since first semester 2006. As much as I hate to say it, it is important that you are on alloc8 the moment it opens for changing (not viewing). This is due to the fact that alloc8 operates on a first come first serve basis. Once the popular classes are full, you can't get in. Each class normally starts with about 5 spare spots, so you have to be quick to jump into the popular lectures and tutes.

lectures aint too bad because you can skip around since the streams are practically identical.
its the tutes you really gotta watch out for.
