What definitions to use?

Hey!

I was just wondering in regard to Accounting definitions for principles and characteristics, is it okay if you don't use the exact wording from the study design, but still include the key words? Will this have an impact on marks?

Thanks a lot :)

You do not need an 'exact' definition but rather a 'qualified' one that is adapted to fit the question. This means you do not need to state the full definition, only what is relevant, and  the bit you're talking about can be worded in what ever way you like as long as it means the same as what is stated on the design. For example with reliability, you should be fine just remembering 'free from human/material bias, can be depended upon'.

Textbooks/study guides do a great job condensing the study design definitions into parts (for easy manipulation) and only what is needed.
