I did terribly at humanities just cos I don't do any humanities subjects, and I generally suck at humanities. :P

I'm pretty confident that I got 34/35 for MST, only question wrong was a really dumb error in probably the read of a question. Hopefully I wrote it down right on the answer sheet, but unlikely. :P

I feel so out of place on this site :P I just became really bored almost every time I got to a maths/science question.

Naki12, I can tell you that I am very confident with the following responses that we got differently: Q24, Q39 and Q60.

I think you may have accidentally included the beginning line in 24, meaning you got an extra step.

With question 39, you can see the pattern is that the wings with bigger eyes are left the most (further supported by the smaller eye basically being approached the most, other than the blank wing), then the wings with two eyes, and the wing with more than two eyes (VI) has not been avoided much. Hence the response B.

In question 60, we can see that component 6 works. Since this component relies on all the connected components beforehand, we can safely say that components 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8 and 9 are working fine.

In question 60, we can see that component 6 works. Since this component relies on all the connected components beforehand, we can safely say that components 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8 and 9 are working fine.

For question 24, this is how I worked it out:
1. 9<-->2 6<-->3 1<-->7 || 2 9 3 6 1 7
2. 2 9<-->3 6<-->1 7       || 2 3 9 1 6 7
3. 2<-->3 9<-->1 6<-->7 || 2 3 1 9 6 7
4. 2 3<-->1 9<-->6 7       || 2 1 3 6 9 7
5. 2<-->1 3<-->6 9<-->7 || 1 2 3 6 7 9
Which is step 5 which is B. My mistake.

For Question 39, it is probably B. I should've read the question more carefully.

60, if 12 doesn't work, either 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12 are faulty. 9 cannot be faulty otherwise 4 will not work. Also, neither 7 nor 8 can be faulty otherwise 9 will not work so 4 will not work. You only need to test 10, 11, 12 which is A. You are right. I think the question should've asked which component(s) did not need be tested (and have the alternatives changed as well, of course).

So I'm sitting on either 29/35 or 30/35 for for MST. Not bad I guess. :D

Can you please explain how you got question 49? I asked my mum (who is a dressmaker) and she said that squares II and V have the thicker material, which touch and must be stitched to all the other squares. Unless again I have interpreted the question wrong. :P

C includes II and V, but also III and IV which will come into contact with the hot pots. I and VI are folded onto the outside and do not require the material.

It doesn't ask which squares need the thicker material - it asks which sections must be sewn into the thicker material.

Ok, here's what I am thinking. The cloth is going to have squares I and VI folded back so Tony can put his hands through into pockets formed by square-pairs I&II and VI&V. Thus, only II, III, IV and V are used to touch things (II and V are where his palms will be and III and IV will be the parts that don't touch his hand. That means only II, III, IV and V need have the thick quilted lining sewn to the thin checked material which is C.

I've interpreted the question very differently. I guess we'll have to see who is right. :P

So did I in the test time. My answer was also A. Now that I've re-read it I see it differently.
