Hello! I've been playing around with ATAR calculators, and I've realised that even if I get a raw 50 in every single one of my 6 subjects, I can only achieve an ATAR of 99.90. I'm not sure if this is true or not, as different calculators are showing me different ATARs (some say 99.90, some say 99.95). So I was wondering, with the subjects I am doing, if I get a raw 50 in each one of my subjects, can I achieve an ATAR of 99.95 (using statistics for 2018)? (Or what raw study scores do I need in my specific subjects to achieve an ATAR of 99.95 as of 2018)
Because I'm sure most people who get 99.95 do subjects such as spesh or a language, which often scales well above 50. If only students who do subjects that scale above 50 can get 99.95, then how is this fair at all to students who do subjects that don't scale above 50 and want an ATAR of 99.95?
