Folks, it’s open day season. That means a few things. First, you might head along to a whole bunch of university campuses to see what it’s all about. You’ll be met with new sights, smells and experiences that may very well impact your university preferences. Open days truly are an incredible way to find out more about particular degrees and institutions, and to stick your nose into what could be your future university campus.
But second, you also have the chance to improve your VCE scores. That’s killing two birds from one stone – amazing efficiency! Yep, ATAR Notes is running free events at RMIT’s open days – one at the Bundoora campus, and another at the CBD campus. The events, taken by two of our lecturers, will be running you through how to get a 40+ study score for two of the most popular VCE subjects: Biology and English. Interested? You should be!
How to get a 40+ in VCE Biology
Sunday 5 August, 10.30am, Bundoora Campus. Book now!
In this event, our Head Biology Tutor Daniel will talk about everything you need to do from now until November in order to smash out that 40+ raw. Dan The Man (as nobody calls him) is in a great position to give this lecture, given he’s currently studying a Bachelor of Biomedicine, and managed a 98+ ATAR when he was in Year 12. Plus, of course, four other subjects of 43+ raw study scores.
This is the only Biology event of its type, and places are strictly limited. Make sure you book your place now – you can do that at this link.
How to get a 40+ in VCE English
Sunday 12 August, 12.30pm, CBD Campus. Book now!
And then, of course, we have our English event. As you know, for a lot of students, English is the subject – the one that has to count in your top four subjects. And it’s also one of the most notoriously difficult, given its pretty stringent demands (*cough* three essays in three hours *cough*). Luckily for you, this lecture is taken by Lauren, who not only scraped a 50 raw in English (plus a Premier’s Award in the subject), but wrote our popular English Complete Course Notes.
Perhaps our most experienced lecturer ever, Lauren’s events always fill up quickly, and this will be no different. Make sure you book your place now – you can do that at this link.
If you’re just looking for a general chat, we’ve got you covered on that front, too. ATAR Notes will have marquee stalls at both the RMIT Bundoora and CBD open days. We can’t wait to see you there!
