I can certainly say what I put down for the MC but this isn't 100%. This is just what my teacher and I agreed on.

Yeah your answers sound good! I basically spoke about reliability, validity and bias of both the researcher and the original author in content analysis

Hey shouldn't 4 be C and not B (syllabus definition is that Secondary research is a qualitative method because the researcher makes subjective judgements about what material is useful, and therefore used, for the purposes of the research.)

haha well at least we stuffed up the 2 marker and not the 20 marker. Gotta look at the bright side  ;) ;)

Agreed! I was also wondering, is our PIP mark included in our final mark?

Sure is. Our PIP makes up 60% and the HSC paper we just sat makes up 40%. They combine our results for both to give us a mark out of 100

Wasnt it the other way around? PIP worth 40% and exam worth 60%? Haha i hope theyre not to strict with PIP marking  ;D

Yeah you're completely right! Sorry about that. PIP = 40%, Exam = 60%

Does anyone have a copy of the exam they can upload? I'm keen to see if my multiple choice answers are correct

I got:

1A 2B 3D 4D 5A 6A 7D 8C

I guessed most of them, I think I got most questions wrong from Q4

I spent a solid 20 minutes just deconstructing each multiple choice question and it was definitely challenging. I personally hate MC for SAC and I always argue with my teacher that society and culture shouldn't even have MC since its such a subjective course but oh wells.

The MC is only worth 8 marks so don't beat yourself up too much for it, I'm sure you did great for the rest of the paper which is what counts.
