Exam Discussion Boards

As you may have noticed the Exam Discussion board is up and populated with all VCE subjects.

It's worth repeating that this is particularly stressful time for high-school students and a lot of people on this community will be feeling nervous and anxious throughout this exam period. Hence, it is paramount that we, as a community, maintain a supportive, friendly, and respectful environment. That means thinking twice before you post. It might be the case that someone says something "illogical" as a product of their stress... Even if something like this bothers you, bite your tongue. It is not your place to point out that the 'irrationality' of certain fears and stresses. Throughout this period, we need to focus hard on being kind and compassionate to those that aren't coping as well as they want to.

In general, there is a hyper clear no-tolerance policy for the duration of this exam period that is as follows:

Any unnecessarily insulting/derogatory/mean etc. posts will be removed and you can be banned for any period of time ranging from 1 day, to the entire exam period, to the rest of the year (i.e. both the exam and results periods). This will be at the moderator's discretion.
You can appeal bans by writing to [email protected].

A reminder that if necessary you can have your profile customised so that the examination discussion boards are not visible to you. Please send me a message if you would like this. (This is reversible, but please don't change your mind every 10 minutes.)
