Key legislation to remember? and the best ways to remember it?

Hey April!  ;D welcome to the forums!!

That's a really loaded question! There are a heap of key pieces of legislation to remember, there are some summary sheets for crime available in our notes section here and here, they might be a good place to start!!

To remember them, summary sheets like the ones I've linked are fantastic. Palm cards are also awesome. There are some more ideas in an article I wrote here!

I hope this helps! Let me know if you need any help finding things around the forums  ;D

if the legislations have long names just use abbreviations such as LEPA for Law enforcement (Powers and Responsibilities)

i used to write them out over and over and over and over!!!!!! :o Repetition worked like a treat for me
If you actually understand what each piece of legislation does than it becomes a lot easier to remember.

Exactly - remembering the Law Enforcement (Powers and Responsibilities) Act isn't easy, and it's even harder if you don't really understand why you're remembering it. I wrote mine out repetitively too! Do you have a small list of the legislation you've committed to memory? Or are you trying to remember as much as possible?
