Hey all; I'm getting a pretty resounding feeling that the answer for Question 7 needs to be changed to A. I'll get this confirmed with Jake and I'm sure he'll fix it up ASAP! :)

Hey everyone, quick question.
For Q26e: Rather than dividing Jenny's yearly salary by 52 to find her weekly pay, wouldn't it be more accurate divide it by 365 and then times it by 7 to find her weekly pay? I'm saying this because there isn't exactly 52 weeks in a year, whereas there is exactly 365 days in a year (well assumedly).

I divided it by 52 originally and got the answer you posted, but then changed my answer to divide it by 365 and then times it by 7x4 to find an accurate monthly payment.

Hope that makes sense. The answers are very similar, but they are different.

I'm certain that 30b ii is wrong. It seems everyone I have talked to didn't know that a megabit does not equal a megabyte. So my working out looked like this.

((3072/7)/60) to get MB per second needed. ANS x 1024 x 1024 x 8 = 61356675.6571 (bit per second needed) divide by 1 million to get Mbps.

= 61mbps

Im stuck on question 30 b (ii) i didn't get the working out

For the last question d (ii) the question mentioned 'solve it simultaneously' which meant you solve it using simultaneous equation

i think i did the same thing in the exam for question 30 b (ii) i did ANS x 1024 x 1024 x 8 divide by 1 000 000 i not sure if it correct

You're probably right for b) (ii)
I think Jake also forgot to divide another 60 to cater for 7 minutes = 420 seconds

However for d) (ii), he did solve it simultaneously. Clearly, he obtained the answers s=10, x̄=64.

I don't see how he could've gotten that solution without solving it simultaneously.
