How do you all find when your optimum studying time is?
I just seem to sit at my desk procrastinating on platforms such as facebook, youtube, atar notes;
regardless of what time of day, it happens all day.
How do you know when you most effectively study?

Try getting the app self control if you have a mac :) Lets you block specific "problem" sites that you will use to procrastinate, while letting you continue to use the sites that may actually help with your study :)

In general though I find that I most effectively study after I have done something fun or interesting, like watch a movie or play with my dog. I'm sure this isn't for everyone - for some people it might make the procrastination worse - but if I "reward" myself before studying, then I feel more motivated to continue, and am less likely to get distracted. I don't know your exact situation, but I know with me that if I start constantly procrastinating, its my body's way of telling me that I'm burning out and I need a break.

Came naturally for me. Tried studying all the time and found I liked it best at a certain time of the day, under certain conditions.

Never been an issue for me (except AN ::) ), try studying away from your computer/phone and see what happens. You can use browser extensions to block or limit your time for certain sites, like Stay Focusd

I get heaps done. It's really easy to tell the difference between doing half an exercise and doing six exercises in your textbook, or a whole essay compared to a plan. Also, I don't spend the whole time wishing I was doing something else, and I don't really feel tired after. For me, generally the quantifier is how much I can check off my todo list; around four or more is when I'd start calling a study session effective, but obviously doing one thing really well is better than doing four things poorly.
